Week Two Homework

Should I have been able to get the colors to match up in the top two photos?  I kept trying but nothing seemed to work.

After several attempts of trying to get a good focus on my dogs, this is what I ended up with. 

Wanted to try something in the house so I took a picture of our ceiling fan. I love the implied photo. I wish I could say the same about the frozen one. I tried to freeze the motion, but was having a hard time getting enough light into my camera. As you can see I have my ISO all the way up to 6400 and still too dark. How do people shoot indoors at ISO 800????? I just don't get it? :(
